Equipment Available to Members of the Wandi Landcare Group

The Wandi Landcare Group has some equipment and also some chemicals available to financial members. The equipment is available for use to all members but only members that have undertaken the Safe Use of Herbicides in the Workplace course or that are in possession of a current chemcert ticket.

Please take care of this equipment. A lot of hard work has gone into acquiring it so please treat it with respect as it were your own. Thank you for your attention.

Back Pack Sprayers

There are three commercial quality knapsack sprayers available for use. They hold a maximum of 15 litres and are designed to be used with herbicides. They come complete with a special over spray cover (not shown) to help prevent off target damage. This equipment was kindly funded by International Power Mitsui

Chemicals & Protective Equipment

The Wandi Landcare Group has also a selection of herbicides, a mix dye and penetrant for select members to use on a fair use base. You must bring your own suitable containers for the chemicals

The WLCG can also supply gloves, boots, goggle, measuring jugs etc and protective overalls (if in stock). This was kindly funded by International Power Mitsui

Injectors for Native Tree Decline Treatments
